Ovius Finance exists so that the people running programmes can spend their time on the people they serve, not on spreadsheets.
Why we built it
Most small finance systems treat an NGO like a shop. But an NGO has to show where each shilling came from and what it did, grant by grant, to donors, boards, regulators and auditors.
So we built around that duty. The evidence is produced as the work is done, which makes the year-end a review and not a rescue.
It is made for Kenya: shillings, M-Pesa, statutory payroll, SACCOs, and the July-to-June year that public bodies use.
